Human Programmed Cell Death Protein 6 Interacting Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human ALIX (Programmed Cell Death Protein 6 Interacting Protein) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for ALIX is immobilized on the plate; standards and samples are added, followed sequentially by a Biotinylated Anti-ALIX Antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and ALIX concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The detection range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.107 ng/ml. Spiked recovery in serum averages 91% (range 80%-102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma averages 91% (range 81%-101%, n=5), and in heparin plasma averages 84% (range 80%-89%, n=5).
