Human Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Programmed Cell Death Protein 1 (PD1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, using a sandwich immunoassay format: PD1 in standards and samples is captured by an immobilised PD1-specific antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-PD1 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is developed with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the PD1 concentration is calculated from the standard curve.

The kit is reported to have a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml and a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol, and the product should not be used past its expiration date. Reactivity is human.
