Human Progesterone Immunomodulatory Binding Factor 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PIBF (Progesterone Immunomodulatory Binding Factor 1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PIBF, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-PIBF antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.116 ng/ml and a product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. In validation with n=5 samples, recovery ranged from 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions, with values spanning 74%–107% for serum, 79%–108% for EDTA plasma and 82%–105% for heparin plasma.
