From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Progestagen Associated Endometrial Protein (PAEP/Glycodelin) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips with colorimetric detection, and absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <1.8 ng/ml and an assay range of 4.68-300 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery in undiluted samples (n=5 per matrix) was 91% (range 80%-102%) for serum, 90% (range 81%-100%) for EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80%-89%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity was assessed at 1:2 to 1:16: serum ranged 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97%; EDTA plasma ranged 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108%; heparin plasma ranged 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91%.
