Human Profilin 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Profilin 1 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate format with a biotinylated anti-Profilin 1 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a sensitivity of 31 pg/ml and a working range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery was 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum (n=5), 81%–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Sample dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions was 74%–107% in serum (n=5), 79%–108% in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 82%–105% in heparin plasma (n=5).
