Human Procollagen Lysine-2-Oxoglutarate-5-Dioxygenase 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PLOD3 (Procollagen Lysine-2-Oxoglutarate-5-Dioxygenase 3). The kit is reactive with human samples and validated for tissue homogenates, serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Detection is performed on a colourmetric microplate reader using a pre-coated 96-well plate (12 x 8 well strips), with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.106 ng/ml. Reported spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) was 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was 74–107% in serum, 79–108% in EDTA plasma, and 82–105% in heparin plasma.

Components supplied include a pre-coated 96 well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers. Storage temperatures vary by component between +4°C and -20°C as instructed.
