Human Prefoldin Subunit 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Prefoldin Subunit 1 (PFDN1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate to capture PFDN1 from standards and samples, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-PFDN1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate visualises the reaction, producing a yellow product read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader; concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 0.112 ng/ml, the quantitative range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 h 30 min. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed.

The kit is validated for cell lysates and tissue homogenates, with reported recovery ranges of 80–102% in serum, 81–100% in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% in heparin plasma samples.
