Human PPA1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Pyrophosphatase 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated plate with a biotinylated anti-Pyrophosphatase 1 detection antibody and an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate; TMB substrate produces a colour change that is read at 450nm. The quoted sensitivity is 9.375 pg/ml, with a standard range of 15.625-1000 pg/ml. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

Standards and samples are incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by washing and addition of detection reagents. Standards are prepared as a 1:2 dilution series down to 1:64, while the detection antibody and HRP conjugate are each diluted 1:100 in their respective buffers. Samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer. Serum is collected in serum separator tubes and clotted for 30 minutes at room temperature before centrifugation at 1000 x g for 15 minutes; plasma is collected with EDTA or heparin and centrifuged under the same conditions within 30 minutes of collection. The kit should be stored at +4°C and not used past its expiration date.
