Human Polymerase DNA Directed Gamma 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human POLG (Polymerase DNA Directed Gamma 1). The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

Quantitative performance is supported by a sensitivity of 0.123 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit is suitable for cell lysates and tissue homogenates, with total protein concentration per well not to exceed 0.3 mg. Spike-and-recovery testing gave average values of 92% in serum (range 85%–100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (range 85%–103%), and 93% in heparin plasma (range 87%–99%) across n=5 each.

Linearity was assessed by serial dilution. Serum (n=5) recovered 75–104% at 1:2, 90–98% at 1:4, 82–104% at 1:8 and 84–99% at 1:16. EDTA plasma (n=5) recovered 95–102%, 83–110%, 85–93% and 89–106% across the same dilutions, and heparin plasma (n=5) recovered 72–102%, 91–95%, 92–105% and 82–104%. Kit components are stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
