Human Polyamine Modulated Factor 1 Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PMFBP1 (Polyamine Modulated Factor 1 Binding Protein 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), using a biotinylated anti-PMFBP1 detection antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the density of the yellow product proportional to PMFBP1 concentration and calculated against a standard curve.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.051 ng/ml and a quantitative assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 m. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (average 91%, range 81–101%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%) at n=5, with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
