Human Poly ADP Ribose Polymerase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Poly ADP Ribose Polymerase (PARP1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, serum, EDTA plasma, heparin plasma and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a sandwich enzyme immunoassay format on a pre-coated microplate. PARP1 in standards and samples is captured by the immobilised antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-PARP1 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the reaction produces a yellow colour read at 450 nm. The quantitative range is 0.781–50 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.25 ng/ml, and the complete protocol takes 4 h 30 m.

Recovery in serum averages 91% (range 80%–102%, n=5), in EDTA plasma 90% (range 81%–100%, n=5) and in heparin plasma 84% (range 80%–89%, n=5). Linearity was assessed at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for each matrix. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
