Human Poly A Specific Ribonuclease ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human PARN (Poly A Specific Ribonuclease) ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PARN in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids [S1][S3]. An antibody specific for PARN is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips [S1][S3]. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where PARN binds to the immobilized capture antibody [S1][S3]. After washing, a biotinylated anti-PARN detection antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate [S1][S3]. The resulting yellow product is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the PARN concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve [S1][S3].

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.27 ng/ml and a working range of 0.781-50 ng/ml [S1][S3]. Reported recovery values (n=5) are: Serum 80%-102% (average 91%); EDTA Plasma 81%-100% (average 90%); Heparin Plasma 80%-89% (average 84%) [S1]. Linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions is as follows (n=5): Serum 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA Plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; Heparin Plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91% [S1].
