Human Poliovirus Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Poliovirus Receptor/PVR in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) using a biotinylated anti-PVR detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colourimetric microplate reader; the reaction colour changes from blue to yellow upon addition of the stop solution.

Reported sensitivity is <0.114 ng/ml with a working standard range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Sample recovery (n=5) averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 across the same three matrices produced values between 74% and 108%. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min, with kit components stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
