Human Podoplanin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Podoplanin/gp36 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. Reactivity is human, and the assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read on a microplate reader at 450 nm using TMB substrate.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.056 ng/ml and a standard curve range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Capture is performed by an immobilised anti-Podoplanin/gp36 antibody, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Podoplanin/gp36 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate; the enzymatic reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution to produce a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to the amount of Podoplanin/gp36 present in each well.

Reported recovery (n=5) averages 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%).
