Human PMCH ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Pro-MCH in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Standards and samples are added to the wells of a pre-coated microplate, where Pro-MCH is captured by an immobilized antibody; a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Streptavidin then form an antibody–antigen–antibody sandwich complex, with TMB substrate producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm.

The full assay runs in 4 hours. The kit is specific for Pro-MCH with no reported cross-reactivity to other analogs or variants.

Validated average recovery from serum is 94% (range 88%–103%), from EDTA plasma 95% (range 95%–104%), and from heparin plasma 97% (range 89%–100%). Healthy serum and plasma are validated at a 1:2 dilution; serum and plasma samples may affect test results and should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing. The kit is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed in the Protocol Manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
