Human PLIN1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Perilipin 1 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other biological fluids. The QuickRun format delivers a 120 minute (2 hour) total assay time using optimized ready-to-use reagents.

Specific for Perilipin 1 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, the assay uses validated sample dilutions of 1:2 for Healthy serum and 1:2 for Healthy plasma. Reported recovery ranges span 85–98% for EDTA plasma, 87–98% for Heparin plasma, and 89–98% for serum. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate conversion and an acidic stop reaction that yields a yellow product whose intensity is directly proportional to Perilipin 1 concentration in each well.

Reagents are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the protocol cautions against freeze/thaw cycles and use past the expiration date. A colorimetric microplate reader is required for readout.
