Human PLD1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human PLD1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phospholipase D1 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated microplate formatted as 12 x 8 well strips, with reactivity specific to human samples.

An antibody specific for Phospholipase D1 is immobilised on the plate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where target is captured by the coated antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Phospholipase D1 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added; catalysis produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of Phospholipase D1 captured, and concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and referring to a standard curve.

The reported assay range is 3.12–200 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 1.38 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been evaluated in serum (n=5) at 80–102% with an average of 91%, in EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81–100% averaging 90%, and in heparin plasma (n=5) at 80–89% averaging 84%. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
