Human Platelet Factor 4 Variant 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com for human samples, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of CXCL4L1 (Platelet Factor 4 Variant 1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are incubated in the wells with Biotinylated Anti-CXCL4L1 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, then visualised with TMB substrate, which produces a blue colour changing to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a sensitivity of <0.8 ng/ml, a standard range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and an assay time of 4h 30m. Average recovery is 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%), each from n=5. Linearity is reported at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16; for example, at 1:2 dilution recovery is 87–91% in serum, 90–105% in EDTA plasma and 84–95% in heparin plasma (n=5). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
