Human Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit A ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Platelet Derived Growth Factor Subunit A (PDGF AA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit is built on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and uses a colourimetric detection format read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader.

The assay covers a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.063 ng/ml, and the total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Sample recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity has been verified at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in each of the three matrices.

Quantification relies on a biotinylated anti-PDGF AA detection antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; after addition of the acidic stop solution the colour change is measured and the concentration is read from the standard curve. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated on the protocol.
