Human Platelet Derived Growth Factor Receptor Alpha ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Platelet Derived Growth Factor Receptor Alpha (PDGFR alpha) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format comprising 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection by absorbance measurement at 450nm in a microplate reader.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.060 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The procedure employs a biotinylated anti-PDGFR alpha antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product is proportional to PDGFR alpha concentration and quantified against a standard curve.

Recovery in serum averaged 91% (range 80-102%), in EDTA plasma averaged 91% (range 81-101%), and in heparin plasma averaged 84% (range 80-89%). Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions was 74-107% in serum, 79-108% in EDTA plasma, and 82-105% in heparin plasma.
