From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative in vitro determination of human Platelet Derived Growth Factor D (also referred to as SCDGFB/PDGF-D) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific to the target pre-coated onto the wells, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate solution that produces a yellow product read colourimetrically at 450 nm.

Stated performance figures include a sensitivity of <4.7 pg/ml and an assay range of 12.5–800 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
