Human Plastin 1 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human PLS1 ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PLS1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and employs the sandwich immunoassay technique with a biotinylated anti-PLS1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is visualised using TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. In validation studies, recovery (n=5) was 80%-102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%-100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80%-89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions was 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101% and 92-97% respectively for serum; 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101% and 79-108% for EDTA plasma; and 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105% and 89-91% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers, with storage temperatures varying between -20°C and +4°C as instructed.
