Human Plasminogen ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Plasminogen in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with standards and samples captured by an immobilised antibody and then detected using a biotinylated anti-Plasminogen antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is generated by TMB substrate and quantified by measuring absorbance at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.61 ng/ml with a stated working range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, and the assay can be completed in approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery averaged 94% (87%–101%) in serum (n=5), 95% (90%–101%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 96% (91%–102%) in heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity was demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples.
