Human Placental Protein 13 ELISA Kit

The assay is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with standards and samples added to wells containing an immobilised capture antibody specific for the target. Bound Galectin 13/PLAC8 is detected using a biotinylated detection antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a stated sensitivity of <6.5 pg/ml and a working range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml.
