Human PKCß1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PKC beta in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The kit is specific for PKC beta with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing; validated healthy serum and plasma dilutions are 1:2. Sample recovery ranges (n=10) were 88% - 104% (average 95%) for serum, 88% - 102% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 85% - 98% (average 91%) for heparin plasma.

Total assay time is 4 hours. Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
