Human Pituitary Tumor Transforming 1 Interacting Protein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Pituitary Tumor Transforming 1 Interacting Protein (PTTG1IP) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for PTTG1IP immobilised on the wells. Standards and samples are added, the plate is washed, and a Biotinylated Anti-PTTG1IP Antibody is applied, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. After further incubation and washing, TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and PTTG1IP concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Performance is supported by an assay range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.071 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colourmetric, performed on a microplate reader. Kit components should be stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed and not used past the expiration date. Reported average recovery values (n=5) are 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 91% for EDTA plasma (range 81-101%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%). Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions is provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
