Human Pim-2 Oncogene ELISA Kit

Designed by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PIM2, this sandwich ELISA kit is suitable for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for PIM2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, samples are added, and bound PIM2 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-PIM2 antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read at 450 nm on a microplate reader, with PIM2 concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <0.227 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.625–40 ng/ml, with an assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported sample recovery averages are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with linearity data provided across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions.
