Human PICP ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this human C-terminal Propeptide of Collagen alpha-1(I) Chain/PICP assay is a 4-hour sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of the target in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with colorimetric detection at 450 nm. After standards or samples are added, a biotinylated detection antibody binds the captured analyte, an HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added in sequence, and TMB substrate is used to visualize the reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm and compared against a standard curve.

The reported product range is 62.5–4000 pg/mL with a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL. The assay is specific for C-terminal Propeptide of Collagen alpha-1(I) Chain/PICP, with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.
