Human Phospholipase D2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phospholipase D2 (PLD2) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for PLD2, a biotinylated anti-PLD2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm; the colour intensity is proportional to PLD2 concentration and is calculated against a standard curve.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 0.58 ng/ml and a working range of 1.56–100 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated. Recovery has been reported at 80–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma and 80–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma.
