Human Phospholipase C Zeta 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phospholipase C Zeta 1 (PLCZ1) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. An antibody specific for PLCZ1 is pre-coated onto a microplate; standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-PLCZ1 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualize the enzymatic reaction, yielding a yellow product whose absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to PLCZ1 concentration and can be calculated against a standard curve.

The assay has a sensitivity of <0.117 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values are 92% for serum (range 82%–102%, n=5), 95% for EDTA plasma (range 90%–101%, n=5), and 94% for heparin plasma (range 88%–100%, n=5).
