Human Phospholipase C Gamma 2, Phosphatidylinositol Specific ELISA Kit

A quantitative sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro measurement of human Phospholipase C Gamma 2 (PLCG 2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection performed on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Standards and samples are added to the wells, where PLCG 2 binds to the immobilised capture antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-PLCG 2 Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow product is measured at 450 nm and concentration calculated against the standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m. The assay range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with sensitivity of <0.136 ng/ml.

Spike-and-recovery averaged 92% in serum (n=5, 85%-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (n=5, 85%-103%), and 93% in heparin plasma (n=5, 87%-99%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated in serum (n=5) at 1:2 (75-104%), 1:4 (90-98%), 1:8 (82-104%) and 1:16 (84-99%); in EDTA plasma at 1:2 (95-102%), 1:4 (83-110%), 1:8 (85-93%) and 1:16 (89-106%); and in heparin plasma at 1:2 (72-102%), 1:4 (91-95%), 1:8 (92-105%) and 1:16 (82-104%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the product must not be used past its expiration date.
