Human Phospholipase A2, Group V ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay enables in vitro quantitative measurement of human PLA2G5 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips together with a biotinylated anti-PLA2G5 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance specifications include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.105 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery values across five replicates averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81–101%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across matched serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices.
