Human Phospholipase A2, Group IIA ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phospholipase A2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with detection performed on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

Reported sensitivity is <2.55 pg/ml with an assay range of 6.25-400 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Recovery averages were 91% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma and 94% for heparin plasma. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) is reported as 90-99%, 82-108%, 82-96% and 92-103% for serum; 84-105%, 88-94%, 89-107% and 72-106% for EDTA plasma; and 89-92%, 88-108%, 84-102% and 90-98% for heparin plasma.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Storage instructions specify -20°C for the microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, and Sample Dilution Buffer, while the Wash Buffer, TMB Substrate and Stop Solution are stored at +4°C.
