Human Phosphoglycerate Kinase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phosphoglycerate Kinase 1 (PGK1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with a PGK1-specific capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PGK1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of PGK1 is calculated by reference to the standard curve. The product is intended for research use only.

Reported sensitivity is 0.123 ng/ml, with a quantitative assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric and total assay time is approximately 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
