Human Phosphofructokinase, Muscle ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PFKM (Phosphofructokinase, Muscle) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Detection relies on a biotinylated anti-PFKM antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal visualised using TMB substrate.

Quantitative performance is reported as an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.114 ng/ml. Average sample recovery (n=5) was 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was reported as 74–107% for serum, 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma (n=5 each).
