Human Phosphoenolpyruvate Carboxykinase 1, Soluble ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative determination of human PCK1/PEPC (phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase 1, soluble) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The workflow uses a pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-PCK1/PEPC detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported analytical performance includes a standard curve range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.051 ng/ml. Validation in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix) gave spike recoveries of 80–102%, 81–100% and 80–89% respectively. Linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2–1:16 sample dilutions, with measured recovery spanning 74–108% across the three matrices.
