Human Phosphodiesterase 1A, Calmodulin Dependent ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Phosphodiesterase 1A, Calmodulin Dependent (PDE1A) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for PDE1A pre-coated onto a microplate, with a Biotinylated Anti-PDE1A detection antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate solution, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the concentration of PDE1A is calculated by reference to the standard curve.

The kit is reactive with human samples and provides an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.126 ng/ml. Detection is colourimetric and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported average recovery values include serum (91%), EDTA plasma (96%) and heparin plasma (95%) across a sample size of n=5.

Included components comprise a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A and Detection Solution B, Wash Buffer (30X), Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
