Human Phenol Sulfotransferase ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SULT1A1/STP (also described as Phenol Sulfotransferase), the Antibodies.com kit is validated for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids.

Detection is colorimetric and performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. After incubation with a biotinylated anti-SULT1A1/STP antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, the reaction is visualised with TMB substrate and stopped with acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The assay has a sensitivity of <0.064 ng/ml, a range of 0.156-10 ng/ml, and a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Component storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported sample recovery includes serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%). Dilution linearity is reported at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these three sample types.
