From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay kit enables quantitative determination of human Peroxisomal Biogenesis Factor 2 (PAF-1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay is run on a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-PAF-1 detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. The colourmetric signal is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with a reported sensitivity of <0.16 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Supplied components include lyophilised standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
