Human Peroxidasin Homolog ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Peroxidasin Homolog (PXDN/VPO1) assay is a sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PXDN/VPO1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform with a colorimetric readout measured on a standard microplate reader at 450 nm, where the absorbance of the yellow product is proportional to the amount of PXDN/VPO1 captured in each well.

Performance specifications include a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.059 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery values across sample matrices are: serum 80–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma 81–100% (average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma 80–89% (average 84%, n=5). Parallelism was demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with serum (n=5) ranging 74–107%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 79–108%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 82–105%.
