Human Permeability Glycoprotein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Permeability Glycoprotein in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a target-specific antibody pre-coated onto a microplate, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-Permeability Glycoprotein Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. The HRP enzymatic reaction is developed with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance, measured at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the target concentration in the sample.

Performance characteristics include a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.114 ng/ml. The full protocol takes 4h 30m, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. Recovery validation showed averages of 92% in serum (n=5, range 85-100%), 94% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 85-103%) and 93% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 87-99%). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was also demonstrated across each matrix.
