Human Periplakin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Periplakin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and a colorimetric detection system, with absorbance read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. It is for use with human samples only.

The standard curve spans a range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.114 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values include serum (n=5) at 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) at 81%–100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5) at 80%–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity has been evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
