Human Perilipin 5 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative in vitro measurement of human LSDP5 (Perilipin 5) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids, with reactivity specified for human samples.

Detection uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read colorimetrically at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.065 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. In validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma (n=5 per matrix), average recovery ranged from 84% to 91%, with individual recovery values spanning 74-108% across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

The procedure uses an immobilized anti-LSDP5 capture antibody, a Biotinylated Anti-LSDP5 Antibody, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, with signal generated by TMB substrate. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated.
