Human Peptidylprolyl Isomerase C ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Peptidylprolyl Isomerase C (PPIC) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for PPIC. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PPIC Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and PPIC concentration is calculated from the standard curve. The assay has a stated sensitivity of <0.054 ng/ml and a quantitative range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), 2 vials of lyophilized standard, 120 µl of Detection Solution A, 120 µl of Detection Solution B, 20 ml of 30X Wash Buffer, 45 ml of Sample Dilution Buffer, 9 ml of TMB Substrate, 6 ml of Stop Solution and 5 adhesive plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. The kit is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
