Human Peptidyl Arginine Deiminase Type II ELISA Kit

The assay is run on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. Reported sensitivity is <0.112 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and absorbance is measured on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Spike-and-recovery validation in human samples produced average recoveries of 91% in serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity was demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16 in the same matrices. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
