Human Peptidase Inhibitor 3, Skin Derived ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative in vitro measurement of human Elafin/ESI (also known as Peptidase Inhibitor 3, Skin Derived) in serum, plasma, urine, saliva, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader. Reported performance characteristics include a standard curve range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of 0.132 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes.

Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported sample recovery averages are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 80–102%, 81–100% and 80–89% respectively.
