Human Pentraxin 3 ELISA Kit

PTX3 is a long pentraxin and acute-phase glycoprotein secreted by macrophages, endothelial cells, and dendritic cells in response to inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1 and TNF-alpha. Quantifying circulating PTX3 supports research into sepsis severity, cardiovascular events, and tissue injury.

This Antibodies.com kit uses a quantitative immunoassay format to measure PTX3 specifically in human samples. The 96T configuration supplies a microplate pre-coated with capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate; 100 µL of sample is loaded per well. Reconstituted standards and detection reagent remain active through several freeze-thaw cycles when aliquoted, and unopened components should be stored at 2-8°C until first use.
