Human PDGF-BB ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PDGF-BB in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is reported to be specific for PDGF-BB with no cross-reactivity against other analogs or variants. It uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips, with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader, and the full protocol can be completed in approximately 4 hours.

Quantitative performance is characterised by a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of <18.75 pg/mL. Spiking recovery has been evaluated in serum (average 94%, n=10), EDTA plasma (average 98%, n=10) and heparin plasma (average 96%, n=10), with linearity demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for each of those sample types. The kit is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or -20°C as detailed in the protocol manual.
