Human PDCN ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human NPHS2 (podocin) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The 4-hour colorimetric assay is run on a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with absorbance read at 450 nm. Standards span 78.125-5000 pg/mL, with a reported sensitivity of <46.875 pg/mL, and the antibody pair is stated to be specific for NPHS2 with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with the Sample Dilution Buffer before testing; validated sample dilutions include healthy serum at 1:2 and healthy urine run undiluted. In spike-and-recovery testing (n=10), values averaged 92% in serum (range 85-102%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 87-100%) and 91% in heparin plasma (range 87-94%).
