Human Paxillin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Paxillin in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, using an antibody specific for Paxillin that has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added, captured by the immobilized antibody, and detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Paxillin Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction is read colorimetrically at 450 nm.

The quantitative assay has a reported product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. It is run on a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 × 8 well strips and read using a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed. Validation data indicate recovery ranges in serum (80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (81%–100%, average 90%, n=5), and heparin plasma (80%–89%, average 84%, n=5), with linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types (serum: 70–107%, 89–93%, 86–104%, 80–103%; EDTA plasma: 95–100%, 85–110%, 81–99%, 90–102%; heparin plasma: 77–104%, 88–95%, 94–104%, 80–107%).
